Manufacturing engineer CNC machining
Your destination
KVE has multiple 5- axis machining centers in the workshop varying in size up until 6 meters long. These machines produce not only composite components but suppliers the complete KVE group of plastic and metallic tooling for all our production processes. In your role as manufacturing engineer CNC machining, you are the technical responsible for the engineering activities in the machine shop. You will be part of the KVE machine shop and work together with the (Design and composite manufacturing) engineering department in various new projects and internal process developments. You will be responsible for downflowing customer and process requirements to the manufacturing phase. You will be responsible for the design and development of trimming jigs and other innovative clamping structures. In your role you will advice the design engineering department in manufacturability of components and work together in optimizing design for costs and production, and you will have the responsibility of adopting new machining techniques, machining tools and automation of the machine process in the machining department. Depending on project size and your experience, you will execute a complete project by yourself or be part of an engineering team.
Your luggage
To be successful in this role, you have a passion for composites and CNC machining. You have gathered your working experience within a high- tech engineering-manufacturing organisation. You have a technical degree in engineering with a proven affinity in machining or you have excelled at the CNC machining and programming level and are ready for the next step in your career. You have hands on experience, can-do mentality, are a true team player and know what it takes to meet internal and external expectations.
In addition you have:
MBO level 4 with proven experience in CNC- machining and high-tech industries or BSc / MSc / BEng Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
1-3 Years working experience in technical environment
Experience in design engineering and composite manufacturing
Excellent command of English and/or Dutch language
You have a permit to work in the Netherlands

A one year contract (32-40 hours) with prospect to permanent employment
