Your destination

In your role as Sales Engineer, you serve as the vital link between the customer and the technical team at KVE. Your primary focus is to align new customer requests internally, propose new projects, and calculate both project and product costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and representing KVE at (international) trade shows. Depending on the size of the lead and your experience, you will either manage the entire sales process independently or contribute as part of the commercial team.

Key activities outlined in your role include:

  • Actively identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis and lead generation

  • Create compelling technical proposals tailored to OEMs and Tier‑1 integrators

  • Present and discuss project proposals in meetings and written correspondence

  • Provide technical support in negotiation phases, liaising between customers and our internal teams

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial terms

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management and production

  • Stay current with market trends and emerging technologies in composites

  • Administration of new contracts into the KVE organization

Your luggage

To be successful in this role, you bring passion and drive for composites and/or aerospace! You have gathered your first working experience within a high-tech engineering-manufacturing environment and are eager to extend your capabilities to the commercial team. You have a can-do mentality, are a true team player and know what it takes to meet customer expectations. In addition you have:

  • BSc / MSc / BEng Degree in Aerospace, Chemistry, Material Science, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 3-5 years working experience in technical composite environment

  • Excellent technical understanding of composite materials, structures, processes (e.g., prepreg, resin infusion, RTM)

  • Excellent command of English and Dutch language

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • You have permit to work in the Netherlands

  • Willingness to travel internationally
